Over the last two weeks we've maintained that a lack of training is the Achilles heel of hospitality operations. Without formal and consistent training, a great number of operations suffer from high employee turnover, customer/guest/member complaints about poor service, lack of organization, and generally inefficient operations — all of which have a negative impact on customer satisfaction and employee retention, and ultimately the bottom line.
